About this Blog
I. Absolutely. Love. My. Job. And I love the people I work with and work for. I don't think I can emphasize that enough. This blog is about my adventures to start a wellness program within This Company, and it certainly is nothing to do with Them. This Company plans to implement such a program, but I'm a bit more "urgent" with it's implementation. People need the help of health professionals and educators now, and not a few years down the road. I know that They are a large company, and They can't take risks and have to make extremely educated decisions to not the cost The Company large amounts of money. I get that. I have no problem with it. Like I said, this blog is not about Them, but it is about what I do and the stories of how I plan to get where I want to be. I will never name The Company, because this blog is not meant for people to derive impressions from reading my stories. I also want to keep my job, so I do not want to give any impression that this blog is a representation of The Company's values, beliefs and ideology.
It's also meant to be an educational resource for those who may be in the same situation as I am. I made this opportunity for myself (more to come on that) and I am ecstatically enjoying it. I hope someone can use my knowledge and the lessons that I have learned to help with their own problems that they face, even if it isn't in corporate wellness.
Cheers to great companies, great workplaces, and employee wellness!
